Coleman Camping Coffee Maker
List Price: |
DescriptionThere's nothing like a hot cup of coffee on a sleepy outdoor morning, but camping French presses and drip filters can be messy and time consuming, especially if you're camping with a group. The Coleman camping coffeemaker sits atop a Coleman 2- or 3-burner stove. Enter the Coleman camping coffeemaker, which makes up to ten 6-ounce cups of coffee without requiring an electrical outlet. Instead, the Coleman coffeemaker sits atop a Coleman two- or three-burner camping stove, where it draws all the heat it needs to brew a delicious pot. The unit includes all the standard coffeemaker features, including a swing-out filter basket, a solid steel base, and an easy-pour decanter. The coffeemaker even offers a pause-and-serve feature, so you can interrupt the brew to pour a cup--a must for sleepy-eyed campers. The Coleman camping coffeemaker brews a full pot in roughly 10 minutes, and can be used for tea or hot chocolate as well. About Coleman More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark. In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come. END Coleman Camping Coffee Maker brews a mean cup 'o Joe! Just because you're on the road doesn't mean you can't have fresh-brewed coffee! The Camping Coffee Maker fits over over your 2 or 3-burner camp stove. Features removable swing-out filter basket for convenience. Solid steel base and easy pour decanter. Even has the "pause and serve" feature to stall the brewing process when you really need a coffee fix! Order Now! Coleman Camping Coffee Maker |

We bouth this tent for cub scout camp for two persons. And yes, after beautiful day one the rain came and we got that as well. So…
The tent is light, you can package it easily to the bag and has everything you need.
We assembled it once before the camp. I strongly recommend you to do it since if you try to read the manual and learn it in the woods when it’s dark it may be frustrating. For us it was reasonable easy after practising at home.
Tent has good fly and that seems to keep rain away very well (it rained the whole night and following morning). And tent is for three season and you can see it from the quality.
I recommend tarp / tent floor cover. We got a little water in from one corner where the water was gathered on the tarp (yeah – our mistake of not placing tarp in right position). But it is good to know that floor is not 100% water proof.
All structures work well and the color is nice.
Overall very good tent for camping type of usage.
All shipping etc worked well and as promised!

We bought the Osage 4-person for car camping. It replaces a 6 person Cabela’s Alaskan Guide model that served us well for 20 years but was far larger than we now need and its fabric/waterproofing was battered from sun, wind, and age. It was a great roomy base camp but not very good for travel since a bear to set up and impossible to do alone. The Osage’s 64 sq. ft. is more than enough space for two, plus gear, and a 90 lb golden retriever.
The first thing you notice about the ALPS Osage 4 is the great price for a well-made tent. I picked it over competitors because it beat them on price AND construction details such as additional clips, bigger zippers, and heavier coating. Still, I was a bit skeptical precisely because of the price.
I set the Osage up in the yard by myself, in a breeze, assisted only by that golden retriever (he was ready to go). It took about 10 minutes – would have been less if not for the wind and “assist.” Only part where a second pair of hands would have helped (because of wind) is positioning the fly. The tent bag included everything necessary (stakes, light rope, patches) unless you will be camping in soft, sandy or rain softened soil – the pin style stakes won’t work well there. They are also prone to bending in rocky conditions. I suggest adding a half dozen lightweight plastic stakes to your supplies. The only other thing you’d probably want is a “floor saver” which should be easy to make for yourself.
An abundance of mesh vents make this a great late spring, summer, early fall tent. Guy out the bottom sides of the fly to maximize ventilation from the expansive mesh in the side walls. You may not need to use them, but the Osage also has tabs on the fly to guy it out in windy/storm conditions. All seams were well stitched and the construction/fabric first-rate. The wrap-up “bathtub” style floor means only one seam (taped) is on the ground. A gear loft and ample inside storage is provided.
I haven’t used the Osage 4 in rain, but because of the heavy multiple coatings, expect it to handle wet conditions at least as well as similar tents. As with any tent, a big part of dealing with weather/rain is how well you position and set it up.
In short, this is a lot of tent for the money.
